Setting up a new business can be daunting, but our mentors are here to help. We provide support to businesswomen to register a new business and ensure they have everything they need to get started. We have supported women in setting up home-based businesses and developing their entrepreneurial skills.

• We provide workshops with leading businesswomen across topics such as digital marketing, Start-up sessions, Online safety.  

• Around 58% of the women we support want to establish their own business based on their unique identities.  Through our mentoring and volunteer placements, we have helped 48% of women to develop business ideas and businesses. Jean – was able to set up her own business through her role

• We want an increase in the number of BAME women in business, break barriers and increase visibility. In the UK only 2% of startup funding goes to female-only founding teams. In UK, in 2020, only five FTSE* 100 companies are steered by women.There are no black CEOs in FTSE 100 companies. Source: FTSE Women Leaders Report, 2020
